| numbers are really interesting. i think that they demonstrate an aspect of God that is hard to grasp. it's easy to mentally know that God has existed forever. (not always easy to comprehend) but i hadn't thought very much about the Person of God being infinite. but then i started thinking about numbers. numbers go on forever. however, it is AMAZING that between any 2 numbers, there is an infinite set of numbers.
between 2 and 3 there is 2.1 and 2.1111111111111111... and you get the idea. and then even between numbers like 1/1000000 and 1/1000001 there is an infinite number of numbers. it's really mind-boggling.
and that brings me to another thing. graphs. specifically asymptots where the graph is always getting closer to it, but it never touches. it could go on forever and ever and ever, but it will never touch the graph. it always gets closer We can all go through life getting to know God better, but we will never know him completely.
